WAITSTAFF RATES | WAITING STAFF
Please do not hesitate to contact us for a formal quotation or ratio calculation based on your exact needs of waiters, waitresses or barmen numbers. All prices are excluding GST. If you require an invoice for your event please add GST onto the prices below..
All charges are per hour with minimum bookings depending on what type of waiter/waitress/barmen you book.
BASIC WAITSTAFF FOR PARTIES/FUNCTIONS/EVENTS
Male or female waiter/waitress for table and drink service, meet and greet, handing around platters, arranging and heating food, general clean up for both corporate and private functions. Staff wear their own clean white long sleeve shirt or black/white t shirt, black pants and black shoes. If you require a different uniform please inform us as there may not be an additional charge.
$35 per hour min 4 hour booking.
BAR TENDERS
Male or female experienced bar tender $38 per hour min 4 hour booking
COCKTAIL BAR FLAIRERS
Male bar flairers $80 per hour min 2 hour booking
HOSTESS/PROMOTIONAL GIRLS
Female promotional hostesses $35 per hour min 3 hour booking
GLASSY/RUNNER
Runner attendant/glass service $35 per hour min 4 hour booking
FUNCTION MANAGER
Female function manager $45 per hour min 4 hour booking
TOPLESS BARMEN/WAITER
Topless male waiter/barman $80 per hour min 2 hour booking
Topless themed waiter/barman $90 per hour min 2 hour booking
TOPLESS WAITRESS/BARMAID
Topless female waitress/barmaid $100 per hour min 2 hour booking
LINGERIE or THEMED WAITRESS/BARMAID
Lingerie waitress/barmaid $80 per hour min 2 hour booking
Themed waitress/barmaid $90 per hour min 2 hour booking
If more than 10 staff members are required it is advisable that a Function Manager is used as an extra hired person.
Suggested Staff to Guest Ratio
All functions require 1 bar station and 1 serving area for every 50 guests to arrive at least 1 hour prior to start time.
Plated - 1 waiter per 10 guests and 1 barmen per 30 guests. 1 glassy / runner per 100 guests. 1 Function Manager or head waiter per 60 to 100 guests.
Silver Service - 2 waiters per table of 10 guests, 2 wine stewards for every 30 people,1 glassy / runner per 100 guests. 1 Function Manager per 60 to 100 guests.
Informal Buffet - 1 barman per 30 guests and 2 waiters per 30 guests. 1 Function Manager per 50 to 100 guests.
Formal Seated Buffet - 1 waiter per 10 guest, 1 barman per 30 guests, 1 Function Manager or head waiter per 60 to 100 guests and 1 glassy/ runner per 100 guests.
Cocktail Parties - 3 waiters per 50 guests and 1 barman per 30 guests. 1 glassy / runner per 100 guests. 1 Function Manager or head waiter per 100.
Birthdays/Informal Get Togethers with finger food – 3 waiters per 80-100 guests and 1 barman per 40 guests and 1 glassy / runner per 100 guests.
Drinks Only - 1 barman per 30 guests, 3 barmen per 100 guests, 4 barmen per 150 guests, 5 barmen per 200 guests etc … 1 drinks waiter per every 15 to20 guests and 1 glassy / runner per 100 guests.
Please note this is a guide only and you’re welcome to have as many or as little staff as you like.
Payment
For corporate functions a minimum of 80% deposit is required 72 hours prior to any function and the balance payable within 7 days after the completion of the function. For private parties and large events hiring basic wait staff or bar tenders a 20% deposit is required and full payment is to be made 48 hours prior to the function. Customers booking topless male and female waiters/waitresses along with lingerie/themed staff are to make payment directly to the staff on the night of your function. Failure to pay the deposit on time will result in your staff being cancelled.
Cash, Credit Card or Electronic Transfers are most welcome.
Discounts available for larger functions of over 20 staff members. Companies who use Wait Staff as a preferred supplier will have a discounted rate. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a formal quotation or ratio calculation based on your exact needs.
